Cavapoo puppies have a friendly, affectionate, and playful temperament that blends the gentle nature of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the smarts of the Poodle.

Main Cavapoo Generations:

• F1 Cavapoo (First Generation): This is a 50/50 mix created by crossing a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a purebred Poodle. They have balanced traits, a wavy coat, and moderate shedding.

• F1B Cavapoo (First Generation Backcross): This puppy results from breeding an F1 Cavapoo back to a purebred Poodle. They are roughly 25% Cavalier and 75% Poodle, making them curlier, lower-shedding, and better for people with allergies.

• F2 Cavapoo (Second Generation): This puppy is born from breeding two F1 Cavapoos together (50% Cavalier and 50% Poodle on paper). Their traits, coat types, and shedding levels can vary widely from puppy to puppy in the same litter.

• Multigenerational (Multigen): Created by breeding two hybrid Cavapoos past the first or second generation (such as an F1 bred to an F1B or F2 to F2).
